Knowing how many people visit your website — and what they do when they arrive — is essential for making smart business decisions. Google Analytics is the most powerful free tool for this, and connecting it to WebYetu takes less than two minutes.
Step 1: Create a Google Analytics Account
If you do not have one yet, go to analytics.google.com and sign in with your Google account. Click Start measuring and follow the setup steps to create a new property for your website. When asked for your website URL, enter your WebYetu domain (or subdomain if you have not connected a custom domain yet).
Step 2: Get Your Measurement ID
After setting up your property, Google will give you a Measurement ID that looks like G-XXXXXXXXXX. Copy this ID.
Step 3: Paste It Into WebYetu
- Log into your WebYetu Dashboard and go to Settings → SEO.
- Scroll down to the Google Analytics section.
- Paste your Measurement ID (or the full script tag Google gave you — WebYetu extracts the ID automatically).
- Click Save Analytics Tag.
That is it. WebYetu automatically adds the tracking code to every page on your website. You do not need to add it to each page individually.
What You Can Track
Once set up, Google Analytics shows you:
- How many people visited your site today, this week, or this month
- Which pages they visited and how long they stayed
- Where your visitors came from — Google search, WhatsApp links, Instagram, direct
- Which devices they used — phone, tablet, or computer
- Which products or pages get the most attention
Use this data to understand what is working and where you should focus your marketing energy.
